I've heard bad things about Fram oil filters on several Buick and Ford messageboards over the last few years. However, years ago I used them on my old trucks and never had an issue. But about 4 years ago when I finally got access to the internet and started hearing bad things about them I stopped using them.
Here is an example: http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/ge...nback-valves-fram-filters.html?highlight=fram

I know these aren't collectibles, it's just that I consider the pictures themselves collectible. Legends!

Yes, Flint is Buick City, as that's where the GN's were made!

Buick symbol & 80 refer to 1980. GM & 75 refer to the 75th anniversary (of Buick).

.

heres a Buick collector plate I found
anyone have any history on it?
thanks
cruzn57

I ran around with that one on the front of my Riviera DD for a long time. No front plates down here in FL. From what I figured out its the 80th aniversary of Buick and the 75th for the Buick City assembly plant. I cant remember what year exactly but GM finally tore the old girl down around 2003. Its main claim to fame was that it was the first major assembly plant for the than new GM formed in 1908.

Here's a bad ass couch spotted in Bowling Green, 2003.

was that couch for sale!!!! i would have bought that in all seriousnessssss!!!!

Thats a way cool couch! I have a friend that made a couch out of his 1965 ford fairlane (he had to get rid of the car, but wanted a keepsake).

We joked & thought about making some out of a GN! It never got any further than the thought about "how do we ship them out to people since they're so big?"

Of course... now the idea is coming back to me after seeing that! so anyone interested in buying a GN couch? How much would you pay (seriously)?
