If you are lucky it's 15-20 miles.

I have a motorized/amplified dipole in the attic $80 or so, and I get about 20 stations here in CT. It's good for about 50 miles depending of course upon the weather/atmosphere.

The Clear TV Key didn't work in my area. I bought it after watching a TV commercial. The money back guarantee is next to worthless. You must call for a return authorization code, but they only accept calls for a few hours on a few days. They do not accept messages. After about 2 or 3 attempts to contact them by phone & e-mail, I canceled the PayPal transaction. The construction of the device is pretty cheesy. Might work under perfect conditions.

The amplified Leaf antennae wouldn't work in my area either.

Maybe you will have better luck.

I have a "TV Freeway Antenna" on two different TV's in my house. They each get about 35 channels, not quite as many as a basic cable package but for my purposes, they work great. Got them from the Walmart web site. No worries if I should need to return them, just take it to the store.

I'm in Phoenix.

So. Would you say it's better than a decent HDTV antenna?
