OK guys.. lets set up a meeting spot and time frame for the drive out to AZ..

last that i heard it was 5am time frame on 24th, but no meeting spot...

POST UP: who's coming out and where are we meeting and what time...

I have to pick up the UHAUL Car Trailer at 9am Fri. So I guess I'll see you guys out there.:biggrin:

I'm in San Bernardino,( 215 and 10 fwy) and can meet at any time,

just north of 10 fwy, on 215, 1st exit is orange show road, head east 1 1/2 blocks ( thru 1st signal light) "Target" on right side, big parking area. eazy back onto 215 south, to 10 east,

OR...... to save Jeff some travel, out in Cabazon, ( past Beaumont/Banning)
is Morongo Casino, Big , can't miss it! large gas station out front,
past where 10 and 60 fwys meet,

anybody else ???

I'm in also. According to the WM locator, there is a Wal Mart in Colton right off the 215 that we could meet at. 91 east goes into the 215 east then just before the 10 freeway is Mt. Vernon exit. Turn left on S Mt. Vernon .10 mile
Left on Washington St. .11 mile
Rt. onto S. Mt. Vernon Ave. .21 mile
I thought this might be as central a place as we can get (we have racers coming in from L.A., O.C.,Apple Valley and Temecula) and have a big enough parking area for those of us that have trailers. Just a suggestion.

I'm heading out Friday also. I don't know what time yet. 5 a.m. sounds really early to me since I work nights. I'll probably follow Jeff since I'll be driving right by his house to get to the 10 freeway. I suppose my next question would be is anyone else from the San Diego area planning on attending?

I thought about that and if some San Diego guys are going out via that route I might do that. I wouldn't mind the idea of caravaning just incase something comes up. I'll be driving to the dragstrip as usual, it's always nice to have a safety net.

when you pick up the trailer, be sure you have a full size truck , they are real picky with weight capacity, and such, tell em your just using it to pick up a golf cart, I'll pm you my cell, if you run into any problems, when your on the road, (I know I'll be in front of you, but can't leave you starnded!)

Neal-- don't you have Thursday off for Thanksgiving? You could come up to our house later on Thursday and crash, then head out Friday morning. If Kathy and I do this it would be our intent to drive both the black car and something else (maybe her Hemi Charger), and 5 AM is not a bad time to get going.....
