Is it recommended to run a dual feed to your rails on an 800whp-1000whp application?

Pros/Cons?

Currently replacing my Aeromotive A1000 pump w/ a Weldon 2025, Weldon pre/post filters, and a Weldon race controller.

A1000 pump is old and ran out of pressure at 8lbs boost, during a tuning session recently.

I have heard that with a single feed on a high hp application, certain cylinders (cyl 1 or 2 IIRC) can lean out, since the fuel has to travel farther with a stock location single feed vs a dual feed.

Your thoughts?

I run a #10 line from pump to a Y fitting 2 #8,then to the back of each fuel rail( Champion) then 2#8's to regulator which is on the fendor well and then 1#8 as a return back to top of tank, this setup WORKS GREAT!!!

hope this helps !!!!

I run a Weldon 2525 pump!!!

I saw this set up at the track last night, on another TB, and liked what I saw.

Any pressure drop/increase that you have noticed for a single feed?

I run a Weldon 2525 pump!!!

How is the noise?

No pressure drop have a gauge on the hood and it holds rock steady

Yep it is noises but all I do is turn up the radio!!!
