Sorry man, hated to do this but it's been too long and I've asked for my money back. I still have not received the product or my money. I ordered the parts Jan 1st 2007. Your reply was could I wait a couple of weeks. I said yes. I think I am a patient person by telling you I can wait 2 weeks for you to get the part and another week for shipping. But after a month and a half there should be no excuse. It's not an absolute necessity that I need the parts I ordered from you but really....how long does a person have to wait???

Was it you that waited like 4 months for prepaid GN1 heads a couple years ago? I could be wrong though.......I thought it was you...

Sorry to see you bring this out for 130$. I suppose you gotta do what you gotta do.......

Have you communicated with Brian lately? I can't see this not being handled with a phone call...

Dammmm.. I deal with Brian a lot !!! was this a special order part he was waiting for to come in ?? have you called him ??

Gbodyparts took forever to ship my vac brake conversion, turns out it was just a simple mistake in shipping. I talked to Brian and he took good care of me. He seems like a good dude to me. I am sure he will take care of ya, give him a call.

I never refused to refund $.
Our supplier has promised us every few weeks to have them. I relay what I'm told. I'm not happy about it either. If we were building them in house, Then yes I would say I'm wrong & I'm just lazy & lying to you.

Refunding $130 isn't anything. I bought back a Limited last year after the owner had it for 6 months.

Hopefully my supplier will see this & chime in.

If you want a refund just ask. It would have taken less time then it did for you to write up this post.

BRian has always been a stand up guy I have purchased from many venders over my years in the TB world. and G body gets most of my business. I'm sure they will do you right

Looks like "as stated above" was all wait and no contact!! and then a write up. As brian stated all it would of took was a simple phone call. iv'e waited on parts from him before and the wait was solely due to the other side of buisness and he informed me about it and even had the other vendor call me to explain the problem. Brian said:"you call this man and explian! why should I?" so, a simple phone call will solve this problem! brian is a great guy to deal with but is very, very busy person, plus kep in mind they are moving to a new location also. Scot w.

Dude- I waited 4 months for my engine, and after I received it, there were problems. Brian took care of all. The key reason he'll get all my business; he was keeping in constant communication with me (and vice versa) and I was aware of what was going on.

Don't piss away a relationship with a vendor for $130- call the man. And, if you did, don't whine- either be patient, or get your $$ back and purchase somewhere else.

Brian,

I never said you refused to return the money. Lets not get that mixed up. I stated above in my post that I haven't received the parts or a refund. Didn't I send you an e-mail on Feb 14th saying QUOTE---> "You can refund my money and I can make my own if that guy keeps taking so long. He's had plenty of time?"<---UNQUOTE It's been 8 days and no reply. Do you think that is good business practice not to reply to someone that has been patient for this long? Yes or no?

To others,

I have contacted Brian through e-mails. I am not one to keep calling/e-mailing someone and bugging them to death about getting the parts out to me. I have always believed what Brian has told me so I just patiently waited.
He has always responded back with the exception the last two e-mails. He said he was going to look into the situation but must have forgot to get back up with me to tell me what's going on. Then, when he didn't respond to the refund e-mail I got worried like most you guys would also....and you know you would've gotten worried too. I'm sure that everyone that defends Brian has had a very good experience with his business. Unfortunately, at this time due to Brian not responding to e-mails I have not.

Yes, that was me also. I waited from May to about Sept-Oct to get those GN1-R heads and intake. I seem to get "stepped on" a lot from people and I'm getting a little pissed with it. This also holds true for me when I help people out for free and then when I need something no one seems to be around.

You can refund my money and I can make my own if that guy keeps taking so long. He's had plenty of time.

That was your e-mail.

My last e-mail to my supplier (2/19/07) who returned an e-mail stating he would have them done:
Hey let me know what you need the worst as I have the flanges made and will start the welding Monday. Also send me addresses if you are wanting me to do any drop ships.
See ya, ***
My response:
MALIBU FRONT & REAR!!!
ELKY FRONT & REAR
GN REARS
SS FRONT & REARS!!

This is what I'm getting & that is what I'm telling you. Vernon no hard feelings on my end.If you heard 10% of the nut case calls I get a day this doesn't even effect me. It does bother anyone when you get negative feed back & you are trying to get this resolved. Believe me it's not worth the head ache on what we make $ wise.

To defend you I checked thru my sent mail & could not find my e-mail to you. The 1 I posted I thought was sent to you & my supplier.
When I just did a check it was not your e-mail. That was my mistake.

How many vendors would defend some one who left them negative feed back & also admit they made a mistake? Vernon I'll refund your $ today. I will also give you free shocks when they come in.

I would rather have your business in the future because you seem like a good guy. I only burn bridges when I think the person is over the edge. You have not been. Just understand that it takes alot out on me when I can't get the parts promised. Believe me I want the parts to sell to you & make a few $. Then I want you to go to the track & say I got these from Gbodyparts.com. Nice quality good prices. There was a little delay but it was worth the wait.

I'll be honest, there were some mistakes with my last gbodyparts order... however, I never even got the least bit upset, b/c within one call or email, Brian would figure out the situation and have a solution to any of the problems. Brian's a stand up guy, and never hesitates to make customers satisfied. I'll be doing business with gbodyparts again in the future for sure! :)

The sign of a truly good business is one that is not afraid to admit a mistake has happened, and resolve the issue quickly. I'd rather deal with people like that then a business who has a "perfect" appearing record b/c they try to hide any problems they have ever had... just give Brian a call, and I guarantee everything will be straightened out...

ok, rambling is all done now. :)

Am I misunderstanding this statement or are you calling your customers, the ones who pay your bills, nut cases?

This is a good motto to live by for all vendors. It appears that the situation will be resolved and I think Brians gesture of free shocks goes above and beyond the call of duty, but a good call to get future business and a gesture that he would like to move forward and not hold any grudges which is class "A" in my book. I hope things work out for both of you guys.

Read what was typed NUT CASE CALLS. Prime examlpe was a few weeks back when the person could care less about Julio's family problems. Would you call that normal???

I have people call me Monday at 8:30 am wanting tracking #'s for orders placed at 9PM on a Sunday night.Tip of the iceberg but who cares.

The thing I admitted to doing wrong here was not e-mailing to the correct address. Which I checked & verified today. I appologized for that. That was also an accident, I was not blowing Vernon off.

We only have so much control over our suppliers, shippers, & weather situations. I was here at 10:00 last night when DHL sent a substitute driver out so that a customer would get his package second day ground. He wanted to ship second day which would have been expensive but we realized shipping ground would put it there second day as well.It would have been easy to say sorry DHL just didn't show up by 5 & we closed sorry. No we called DHL & heard for 5 hours a truck is on it's way.

Vernon's $ was returned today. When the shocks come in I will ship them to him for free.

I delivered a set of Fillers to BG last year & didn't charge the customer a penny. Why because my supplier promised them to me by a certain day & they weren't. Did they re-imburse me, no. Do you think the customer remembers free fillers or the fact that they didn't arrive here so I could ship them to him in time for the nats??? Who knows it depends on the customers perception of the deal.

Any one who would like to sit in this office on a Monday thru Friday & see what happens here I welcome you to it. It actually may give a new respect for what tis business goes thru.

Not complaining when I have enough you'll know it.It just seems that out of any situation there is always 1 person( No this is not directed towards you) that can pick a negative. I don't let it bother me & I sleep at night knowing we did or tried the best we could possiblly do.

Fair enough. For the record, I have no problems with you whatsoever unless you call me a nut case  Keep up the good work, Brian. Honestly, I am just bitter you don't have any NOS chrome door escutcheons.....LOL

Good point Ted. Can't ask for anymore than that!
