I have been in your shoes before owning a business and dealing with the public. I always hated when someone would call me every 3 hours or stop buy to check on a job that takes a day or two. That's the reason I don't contact or call owners of businesses every other day asking about when my parts are going to be shipped. I figured they have enough people calling already. It spooks me when I try to contact the person I gave money to and I don't get a reply in a timely manner. I guess I'll have to start calling suppliers everyday like some people suggest just to aggravate them.:(

I figured for the money vs the time for me to make those supports I'd just pay for a set. Please don't send them to me and expect me not to pay.

Like I originally posted e-mail was sent to the wrong person.Your not the only Malibu guy waiting on them. We are back ordered on about 7 sets.

Only thing I would ask & you can understand this if e-mail didn't get returned & call or another e-mail would have been great then a negative post.
This post really doesn't bother me. I hope my supplier reads this & others & realizes the effect of telling businesses it will be there this day or done in a week etc..
I hate to say it but 90% of suppliers do this. I called 1 manufacturer last week & was told 3 weeks on Gray trunk carpet kits. Not what I wanted to hear but I know it is at least accurate. After dealing with some on past track records if they tell me 4 weeks I know it means 6 weeks.
I could put a list up of date expected & actual arrivals & slam a bunch of well known companies but that will not get us anywhere.
This thread may bring to light that we do not build everything in house but try & stock everything possible. We are at the mercy of suppliers & their word.
 
Brian has always done good by me.

I'm pretty patient as well, and when 1 item of my order failed to arrive within a reasonable amount of time, I dispatched another. The reply was within one day, and I had my BO part within a couple more.

I am 100% satisfied with Brian's service.
