Any one heard of the G T 6152 E from precision turbo? Any feed back I was reading up on it and it seem interesting says it replaces the older style 50 series?

My experience .go to a vendor that will stand behind there stuff..call john craig or you can speak with chopper either one..I like many others have had bad luck with the other turbo vender you speak of

Gt6152e

I haven't heard of anything like that but I do agree to get Turbo from vendor like Precision Turbo talk to Don, Full throttle talk to Mike, or talk to chopper.

I agree. The car pulls well from start to finish. I need to put on some good tires so I can use first and 2nd.

can I use 50lb injectors with this turbo or do I need to step it up bigger? What stall do you reccommend? can I keep my stock cam. I'm looking for mid to low 12's.

I think the concensus is that a 3200 stall is about optimum for that turbo. 50# injectors ought to be plenty for your times..... Stock cam is fine. I have already been 12.65 on my stock turbo/stock longblock .... and I have only recently got a handle on how to tune one of these cars. That turbo ought to run 11's on 18 psi boost with a stock longblock... and a good tune.

I'll save you some reading off of the other thread.. Hands down a PERFECT street/strip turbo.... It has performed well above my expectations... Check out my sig...

I really like your sig :)

hmmm I'm gonna consider this turbo then if everyone lkes it! I'll have to do more research about it, what do you guy think about the 62 series turbos?

I heard the stall minumum for that turbo is 3200. I have heard 3200-3400. I know the chip will be a spool factor as well. As well of exhuast and IC. I have heard the 6131 is a good turbo too. That one uses a 2800-3000 stall.

I had a 6131E on my T top and it spooled very nice,had a 3000 stock size coverter.

I have the 6152S on my 2.0L Talon and the top end is insane on only 24psi.

IMO, I would not go smaller than that for a 3.8L GN. Not only is our exhaust housing a tad smaller but we have a ton more cubes to spool it asap.

I went 11.4 on the 6152 turbo with the regular 3 inch inlet. No problems with 50# injectors and alky. Without alky, the injectors may be too small if you really push the turbo to more than 23lbs boost or so. I was using a 9" 3200 stall converter with an RJC boost controller. Without the boost controller, it was a little laggy and I think 3400 stall or so would be ideal.

You should have no problem taking a good running car to low 12s on this turbo. Stock cam is fine but you may need to switch to 28" tall tires as your mph increases in the 1/4.

With a tighter converter and higher flowing intercooler, I think I could get down to real low 11s on stock heads.

look in sig for combo and times. to run low 11's with stock heads the car will need to set on a kill tune 28 psi of boost or lighten the crap out of it.

BTW my car weighs with a 1/4 tank of gas with weld draglites on it it weighed 3505. so my race weight is 3665

Also with the 55's that i have the fast showed my duty cycle on the injectors @ 84-85 % fuel pressure is set @ 45 psi line off
