Here is what the run looked like when it broke the trans. I believe it just flat drove right through the clutches!! Dont have it out yet , my trans guy is on vacation for a week so I will check the trans pressure then pull it and start checking out the engine. It actually went 11,538 RPM as you can see on the info graph. Its probably really just fine:eek: Mike:cool:

Sorry OC I broke the trans on Thursday night , I have a spare but its the exact same setup and Im positive I have surpased the torque limit of this clutch setup I have in both of these transmissions. Hopefully see you in BG. Later Mike:cool:

Sorry gang!! Just got an e-mail from Ron Joseph who was trying to set this up. John Gallina has replied that they will have to PASS on my offer!! Seems they have something else "special" in mind for this event and its top secret:eek:

He says that the score board will provide answers as to WHO IS THE FASTEST BUICK POWERED VEHICAL ON THE PLANET!!!

I intend to prove him correct!! Mike:cool:

Something like 7.12 @ 186 is the fastest time slip I remember for the 1/4 mile shutting off early. Qualified number 1 at the turbobuick.com nationals with a 4.35 at 162 in the 1/8 though. Mike

im sure its only 50 at 8000 rpm it is a blower ;) i say get r done

Since the data seemed to spark your intrest here are a couple more pics of the event at different times. First set of pics is right before the shift at 1.5 seconds. The second set is at the peak boost number at 1.779 seconds. Yea thats 77.9 PSI!!! Thats why I shift early!! Mike:cool:

Gee, wonder if you will see signs of head gasket damage, with those wimpy head studs :-).

I checked the valve lash and it was perfect , then check the compression compared to a week ago and it was perfect , then leaked it and it was perfect. So far so good!! Pulled trans out and didnt find anything obvious at all. Now we are wondering if the electric solonoid that drives the shifter is being affected by the additional g-forces its making and a drop in voltage caused by the two additional nitrous solonids I installed for fuel control valves. Its looking like maybe the shifter did not fully put it into 2nd gear. Im taking the trans to trans guy tomorrow , hopefully that will tell me something. Right now Im at a loss as to exactly what happened.

Mike

I'll run ya Mike. I may not be as fast as Gallina's car/budget but you gotta get down the track to beat me! :D

Way to step up Will:biggrin: You two might be the new Big Dawgs!!
