tell's me that all the ass kissing that go's on here when it comes to a certian vender isn't happening now that someone has had to actually "post proof" of what happened to them getting screwed. gbody parts is the vending god here and i see people having problems and it's always shhhh don't say anything bad just be quite and deal with it till they get around to dealing with you. i am in no way trying to belittle gbody parts as i see way more good then bad, i am stating an obvious trend on here of people flat out attacking others when it comes to any situation that concerns any voicing of any thing negative like they are liars. so tnx if you got a problem with me and capt. china as you call him let's here it. but i'll tell ya, if you want to start a sh*t storm, you better have a real good rain coat because it's gonna come at ya but good.;)

I was merely illustrating that people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. The reason I stayed out of this is because there was no need for my input. So you got to ask yourself, was there any need for yours? Did you help the author any, bring any light to the situation, help any future members? I've stated all I need to state on Gbodyparts.com, their feedback has been much improved as of late, so when is the axe ground sharp enough? And no offense, but your post doesn't intimidate me, makes you look like a bit of a bafoon too, so I would think long and hard about that threat. ;)

I have had about enough of this bringing my name into this....

First off this is a Monte Carlo SS deal, not a turbo buick deal...

Secondly, NONE of you has heard Brian's side of this. I know more details about this that is why I haven't posted... That is why I haven't said anything. I confirmed what I thought today....

There are 2 sides to every story.

There are only a few of you that seem to jump on the bash Gbody wagon all the time. Only then to bash the guys that stand up for Brian...

Brian has more customers than any other Buick vendor I know... If his customer service and products are so bad why do people keep buying from him.

Some have the nerve to say I protect Brian. Can anybody come up with 1 thread that has bashed Gbody that I have removed? There are many many of them out there....

The same guys that keep harping against Brian, JUST DON'T BUY FROM HIM, how would you like it if everytime a thread concerning you came up and somebody bashed you at every chance!!!

Evidently he must do something right, I see the UPS truck fill up every afternoon...

I wish I had this much extra time on my hands as some:rolleyes:

Yeah they have some spots on them I agree, the top of the doors at front is where the seals go though and it would have been easy to miss guys. I also assume that Brian did not pull the doors off himself and his idea and one of his workers ideas off rust free doors are probley totally diffrent ideas . Contact Brian on this , he will fix it just give him a little time to get with you . For doors over 20 years old they have NO rust on the bottom of them compared to what I see every day lol. If your body man can't fix that little bit then you need to find another body man! Short shot from a blaster then fill , prime and roll man. This is the feedback section and the rules say ONLY THE SELLER AND BUYER but as allways the band wagon bashers jump at the chance to get on to hammer brian at everychance so I figure I had to post up to even the scales. If you don't like him then buy somewhere else, if you haven't bought from him at all then keep out of it since you have nothing to do with it except getting a chance to whine on the net! The one that is suppose to be the moderator for this section should be striking EVERY response on EVERY post that is not the seller or the buyer anyway. Larry , holler at Brian again and you guys work this out. If your body guy started on all of it then he must not have thought they were to bad .

I was linked this yesterday. Bud & I had already spoken when I read this. He was refunded what he thought was fair. Not what I wanted but I asked him what he wanted. When Bud comes back & posts then I will post. I will not say anything against him since I do consider him a friend.
I have broad shoulders & can take it. There were a few things left out about this transaction that I or Larry (Bud) can post that wasn't mentioned.

As far as Shane protecting me & where the rules apply. Let me tell you it is a Freaking Joke.
I can remember not to long ago where a signature was removed because it contained a non paying vendor at that time. Then you have this little CA. Trio running around with all kinds of BS in their signatures & vendor bashing. What has been done about it,........Nothing!

Brer Rabbit.... Theft
Your a cop & well like most of them I'm friends with it works to your advantage or how you see things but never both sides equally.
You have never bought a damn thing from me. You have never spoke with me but you know it all. Buy some 22 year old part for $15.00 do a charge back on your Credit card & then whine how terrible I am. "I ordered a 22 year old part & it wasn't mint." Then you will have a leg to stand on. Why do you think Jeremy deals with me after all of these years? The same reason I still have customers I have been dealing with since 99 do.

You make a decision on what little you see or decide to see. That is why they have judges & courts to decide things & see both sides equally.
I'll leave it at that enuff said.

XxDarkSidexX
I never told Shane once I would call & talk to you. I have paying customers & educated people to deal with not a little keyboard bytches. Your little GBP bashing has been going on since 05.Ignore it I'm told & have been. You actually made it very easy to prove Brer Rabbit's point is incorrect. There is absolutely no protection here.

nisnutz
you have been whining so long I forgot what it was even about. I think you wanted to get mint seats & send your junk units in as a credit or something? Let it go you didn't buy anything from me.

All the above people have been bashing me, where are the rules??? Where is this unspoken vendor protection? Send me a link I would love to see it.
Now I'm sure you 3 will spend plenty of time with your replies, have at it.

Don't like me, don't buy from me.

Like I said once Larry is done posting his refund & he is happy I'll be back to post.

I'm glad this got takin care of! I wasn't trying to put a spin on anything. I just really didnt know there was a difference. I have had 4 Monte SS's and was going to purchase a set of doors for my last one but sold it before I did a paint job. Good info to know. I wouldve bought any year Monte door becuase I thought they were the same. Anyways, happy wrenching guys! I got work to do in the garage!!! I'll buy from Brian anytime!

I just wanted to ad something here. Back in the days of buying parts before when we didnt have the net, we could go to a parts store, dealership, or drive someones house and see what we were buying. Most of the time we didnt have to pay for shipping because we brought it home with us. Now we get online, point and click, paypal sent. Parts show up, they might not be what we expected or are the wrong part, etc. Now when the parts show up and are wrong for whatever reason, we feel like we are going to get ripped off on it. There is no personal contact with the seller with these type of transactions. The main reason I buy from Brian is because I have talked with him many times about more than just cars. There is a relationship started there by doing this. I trust him becuase I know even when something isnt right, he'll take care of me. All I have to do is send an email or make a phone call and leave a messege if he's busy or not available. I have recieved quite a few things from Brian that werent right but it always gets taken care of no matter what and guess what, my car still gets done either way. I like to buy in person and see what I'm getting but in todays age, that doesnt happen very often with cars that are rare and 22 years old!

My credit card has been credited. Brian and I are done.
Thanks for all the support. :)
Larry.

Your credit card was credited. Was this made right? Are you satisfied with the outcome?

Larry seems you have whiped your hands of me & that is fine. I'm still not going to say anything that would look bad on you or "throw you under the bus" to say. I think alot was miscommunications or interpetations.
I still like you. 1 transaction will not change our friendship over the years. I would rather have you as a friend instead of a customer.

A few things here that some light was not shed on to.
Pics of the car were sent.
What I thought of an "accurate" description for an original paint 22 year old car.
I quoted him a price over 3 years ago & stuck to it.
Larry offered us an EXTRA $300 & I said no.
I had at least 6 people stop by trying to buy the car whole & were sick when I told them I was taking off the doors & trunk lid.
Kasci made calls for 3 days trying to find the least expensive shipment method.
Once picked up the shipping was about $200 more then we were quoted. They told us this after it was already in transit.
I split the shipping extra.
No crating fee.

The rust you see on the top of the doors is under the seal. I went out & pulled 3 Monte carlo door seals on the top of the doors. NO RUST AT ALL. This was not normal for a car to rust under a seal. Espescially on the top of the door. I have never had to pull a seal off a door to check for rust. I have parted alot of cars & never saw this.

As far as the under side lips. The rust is minimal & can be wire brushed out & re-seam sealed. The corner yes it has some internal rust on the inner side.
Not sure if it was checked here as far as knocking the rust loose to see how bad it was. I would suggest no.

Trunk lid dent. I know it wasn't dented here & I'm sure it was due to shifting in the crate. I went out & inspected the crate & had them add extra packaging.

Most of you know we are alot larger of an operation then we were 4 years ago & I do not get the chance to pull & thuroughly inspect every part. I did look at the 3 pieces & thought pricing was very fair for the condition.

Were there some miscommunications yes. Mostly on my part. Larry owns an 85 & an 88 SS. I talk to alot of people daily & I do make mistakes.
I settled with Larry, lost $ in order to maintain a friendship. I do think his body man is a little over the top but we can't always choose our bodyman.

Lastly Larry was able to use the doors. I'm sure his shop charged alot to do it.

I view alot of my parts by the hundreds of vehicles I have parted bought, sold & worked on.
I have a saying in this business:

There is upstate New England rust,Mid Atlantic rust & the Southern rust.

WOW a stand up move for sure.

Bweavy do you have some front and rear bumper fillers in like new condition for 12 years ago pricess? i think i paid 5.00 each at a U-pull yard.
who the hell does this.
good to see its over.

Actually yes I put them on e-bay & started them for $1.00. I had over a thousand $ worth of damaged fillers. Not sure if it was the move or just guys didn't care. I figured sell the ones that were not damaged better then throwing them away.

A few years ago I made the mistake of buying from Ur "Company". In fact when I mentioned this last year during another major screwup U had with another member, U were quick to post info on what U thought was my transaction. U were wrong about that, and in fact all I bought from U was a simple thermostat hold down and bolt. I certainly dont want to relive that again but lets just say that U only got me for 15 to 20 bucks or something like that never again though. As far as knowing it all... well my wife would agree, but one thing for sure is that I just cant stand it when people like U continue to operate in such a way that brings negative attention so often. Yes I am the Police and you better believe I fix peoples problems, its in my nature and I do it well, so thats why I will always write on matters like this. The best part of ur statement is the "judge and court" reference. You know full well that people out of state would find it extremely difficult to file a claim in a civil court which is exactly why U have an "I dont care attitude" so clearly seen by the clear thinking members of this community. The way I see it is slowly but surely ur burning bridges one after another until eventually U will fade away. The sooner the better. And finally as far as Jeremy still dealing with U after all these years... well lets just say I have no freaking explanation for that, especially after a few lengthy conversations he and I have had over the last year or so, U know, when U were really in ur "email me I'm too busy to pick up the phone and handle the problems with the orders" mode. One more thing ur spin on the whole door thing was fantastic... Looks to me like ur hand was forced on this one...hopefully all the other unsatisfied members can get similar outcomes....Ur the best buddy!

O.K.Who called 911.This is getting out of it's jurisdiction!!!!

Brer Rabbit and BWEAVY, please leave me out of this one guys. You are both good friends of mine and both of you have done a lot for me and have been thoughtful, helpfull, and gone out of your ways for me. I appreciate this from the bottom of my heart. I just dont want to be involved in anyones conflicts. As far as me dealing with GBodyParts, I will anytime. I am the sort of guy that never cuts anyone short until they wrong me. I would do anything for either of you guys, even though I have never met Brian in person. Gary, man you know how much help you have been when I broke down on the side of a busy 4 lane highway in Chicago with Ashley (9months pregnant). I appreciate that a lot! Just try not to involve me in any conflicts guys!

It amazes me the dogged attitude some people will inherit due to some unfortunate circumstances. It reminds me of the instance I witnessed where a cook unfortunately didn't prepare a patron's meal exactly as expected and the customer made a scene crying out for the cook's job.

I wonder if that customer cried out for that same cook's job each and every time he got the chance when he re-visited that restaurant.
