Is anybody else starting to feel tired of this winter? I'm sitting here looking at my Turbo Buick everytime I come home and just thinking, "Dang, I can't wait until this snow/ice/salt is off the roads and I can go drive it." I'm just getting tired of all this cold weather. Want to do stuff and it's hampering all of my plans!!!

Anybody else tired of this and want the spring to come already?!

I was just talking about the same "winter issue" over here in KY. I'm sick of it and can't wait to move back to SoCal or FL. Somewhere perpetually sunny and warm. Cold weather blows...literally.

I was sliding all over the road trying to get to school this morning and just decided after losing control of the car and getting stuck in the snow that it wasn't worth going. I cannot wait until this snow/cold weather is out of here. I've been looking at my Buick over teh past few weeks and just successively getting depressed thinking about how much longer we have until the good weather comes around.

Not only does the snow and cold suck, it REALLY sucks when you get sick. I just came down with strep throat and can't eat anything or even breathe for that matter without my throat being on fire! How many more days until Bowling Green?!?!

Tell me about it! I took my WRX to work today (it's all wheel drive and usually 110% stable on anything you dish out). When I pulled out of my snowy driveway the a$$ end slipped out from behind me. I went down the unplowed road at something like 4-5 mph and still lost traction a few times. Once I got to the main road (that was plowed) I was ok, but I understand what you mean about wrecking... It was not a pleasant feeling to not have any control of the car at all.

What is everyone complaining about? Haven't you all heard of global warming? Well, it has hit us hard in New England. No snow, and the temperature hasn't dropped below freeing except for maybe once in mid-January.

Ha, just kidding!! I know what you mean. I plow driveways for a few people in my neighborhood, and I am running out of places to put all of this crap. I don't mind Winter and I don't usually look forward to it ending early either. After all it is New England, and if I don't like it, I can always move. BUT, it is beating the heck out of my truck trying to move these ice/snow banks to make room for the next storm.
Mid January, the snow banks were higher than I usually make them in a whole season, and we've had maybe four storms since then.

When you put it that way it doesn't sound like we have much time to get ready for BG. 93 days... I wish I could work on my cars but my insulated garage is as cold as my fridge! I don't even want to go in there with a coat

Makes spring that much more enjoyable! We have so much sand on roads around here probably won't be clean until July.:smile: All you guys living in warm climates, we will be laughing at you in a few months when it is scorching in your area!:biggrin:

I've thought about the whole heater thing. But I've got thin blood... Been in Southern FL and SoCal too long. Don't think I can handle limited warmth and work on the car as well.

Additionally, I've got two cars in the garage- it's too tight to move around and the weather is too nasty to push one out...

I'm already working on plans to build a very large, insulated, super heated garage in the near future.

At least you guys got electricity. Been out here for 8 days and counting thanks to the ice storm. Supposed to be 60 here by w/e...but still won't have elec. I feel fortunate as I have a generator. Lots of people only have kerosene heaters....was rough last few nights as the temps were in the single digits.

Went for a ride today actually, a tad on the cool side....must have been in the high 40's or low 50's here in SC. :smile:
