the hard support plastic under the dash padding.
Got snookered, [actually, snookered myself by not looking closely enuf], w/ a dash that has some cracks in the hard plastic that the actual pad is glued to.
Need to paste it back together, so it can be painted....

I have A pt number [870], for Evercoat, that's used on header panels, but not sure it'll work on this plastic. It says it's for SMC and f'glas. [Not sure what this dash stuff is made of.]

3M repair will do just what you need.

Down side is you need the applicator, it's a two part adhesive and I dont know if they sell it in a retail type package. The applicator is a 200 ml applicator gun.

If you know someone who works for a body shop, they will have access to it.

**Just know that it sets up Really fast**

Chuck, the 3m04247 will work very well for what you are doing as well. It will set up pretty quick for you, allows you to even make new tabs onto plastic if any are broken, it's a great product. One thing to keep in mind with any of these two-part glues/adhesives. They all require an adhesion promoter to work properly. The adhesion promoter comes in a little pack (similar to a wet wipe you would get at a BBQ or hot wing joint to clean the mess off your hands when you are done) Make sure you get yourself one of these little packs before using any of these products or else they won't stick all that well. Shoot me a message if you have any questions on how to use it!
