A couple of Grand National parts sellers end their auctions early or cancels apparently because the bids don't get high enough.

I have seen a few auction end myself. I think there is alot of off ebay sale`s to get around fees. That`s why there so high price on a item. I assume this is something new. Conclusion is make an offer with the seller.

Problem is a reserve tends to drive people away. But at the same time the seller doesn't want to get burned, and the other not-so-legal option, which eBay supposedly closely monitors, is shill bidding.

But it now is nice, just it adds a chunk up front when initially listing.

Who are the sellers on eBay that are doing this?

I'm not going to "call out" the people however, it's the people that sit at their computer all day long trying to catch a good deal and after winning the auction put it back up for a HUGE profit. I seen a GN steering wheel sell for $61 that looked awesome and then they resold it for $125 after dying it. That's how it works though, so I can't blame them for trying to make a profit. It just sucks when you bid on something that might be a good deal to you and then suddenly it's cancelled before it ends.
