GN1 int. and ported stock heads

is anyone running GN1 intake w/ ported irons? i talked to tom at champion he said while it is not really reccommended that alot of people are running this combo. i was wondering if anyone here is running this combo? and if so did u make any changes? likes/dislikes? etc. plz
