Well my dash came in the mail today!!! I decided to pass on new rims and instead I saved up money and took the plunge on doing a GNX style dash. I went with all white faced Autometer Phantom gauges. I also went with Will Wilkerson (Bent6) to assyemble and wire all the gauges and do the modifications to the core support. I just sent him all my gauges and the dash core support and he done the rest! This whole set up isn't cheap but it's WELL WORTH IT! The quality & craftmanship that Will has done is amazing to say the least!

The core support isn't all hacked up either. It can still be used to convert it back to stock if need be. Very nice work!!

THANK YOU WILL !!

Here are some pic's

Man, your car is gonna fly. 90 mph at 1500 rpm and no boost. Better check your oil pressure and pull over for some fuel .

Seriously, looks good. It's always exciting getting new toys.

I did a GNX style dash a few years ago. It is one of the coolest modifications so far. I have one less guage (battery) but kept my idiot light panel. Kind of cool how they did your blinker, check engine and brake/cruise led's. Take your time and think through everything before you start. Took me about 4 hours to install. I like the boost guage in the middle. Looks good!

Thanks for the compliments guy's! Yes it is very clean, That was how Will likes to do his so I kept it simple like he does and I couldn't be more happier..

It's mocked up in the car now and looks AWESOME together with the white car & blacked out trim!

Going over the detailed instructions that Will also sent..

Total cost with gauges, panel, VSS sensor, LED's, wiring & parts and Will's labor is right at $950-$1,000 all together. closer to the $1,000 with shipping to him & back.

Glad you like it Scot and thanks for the compliments. These get a little easier each time and I always find a way to do it a little better than the last one. As you can see, I am somewhat anal about wiring. Anyone who has seen any of my cars - especially the race car - can attest to this! It ain't cheap by any means and certainly isn't for the faint of heart.

That is going to look good in that white car. Take your time with the wiring paying special attention to the alternator circuit. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

BEFORE & AFTER

That looks really good!!

I got my panel from Bent 6 also but I was brave enough to do the gauges myself. It wasn't too bad really, but it's not exactly something I'd do again in a heartbeat!

Post up more pics when you get it done.

Looks great. Well worth the $$. My old T-Type had a GNX cluster. Hopefully if I get back into a TR this will be one of my first upgrades.

BAD AZZZZZZ.... That thing rocks...

Great work guys..

Scott, you may need to rewire the 3 bar, since it got power from the factory dash.. just an FYI before you go hammering down at 25+ PSI. :D

That looks good!!! I bought that dash panel when he was making them, I can't wait to install it in the car i'm gathering guages for my panel now.....

The MAP is on the same circuit but is not in series with the dash cluster. I have run this setup with both the stock ECM and now XFI with no issues.

Anytime you've done this much wiring, however, it is a good idea to verify that all sensors are working before hammering on it in case something got crossed.

Grrreen with Envy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Scott,
Looks better than description!

Will,
Great job putting it together! Hope you have time for mine..........

Thanks for all the compliments guy's!! I'm still taking my time wiring this in, and insuring a first time installation and it being done right to where the original dash can go back in like before with no mods to the stock harness.

I will post finished pic's asap..
