Great looking motor!

Awesome looking GN. Rims look really good with it sitting that low.
One question about the rear Moog Springs, whats the part # and how much do they lower the car?

Thanks.

Hey guys I got some new pics of the motor in wish I could be a little happier though i got some issues of coolant in under the valve cover I am hoping (and praying lol) that its just seepage coming up from the bolt since thats where it originated from, Im gonna put some aviation sealer on the bolt and go from there .

Well be sure to flip thru all the pages -later

Great looking engine. I'm more interested in the a/c delete setup. What did you do for mounting the vent cables? Mine has a Malibu trim piece, which doen't fit a Regal dash. Did you find a Regal one somewhere?
Mark

Actually I removed the vent cables and sealed those doors shut, I was trying to keep everything simple and for the unit to supply good heat in the winter.

What B-hive springs do you have? If you don't have the Ford springs you have regular Conical springs which doesn't = B-hive springs.

Just throw a couple of the GM seal tablets into the radiator...should take care of seepage from head bolts...on that note why head bolts and not studs?

well I put the sealer on let it sit for a day and the leaks even worse starts at 5psi in the cooling system, I took the bolt out and could barely see a crack right in the corned of the machiened area where the bolt washer sits, Time to yank it apart and get it welded, Will someone remind me why I like theese cars
I put up a pic of it in the link below

Studs won't leak if installed right with the correct sealant...have seen many cases including my motor...

your probably right ,most dont use the correct stuff or allow curing time , The bolts will work fine for me plus its easier to get the head off so im glad I ddnt go the stud route who woulda knew the car didnt even leave the driveway and the motor has to come apart already.

That does suck...just curious but you stated you have GN1 heads...8-bolt or 14?...were they new...used?...I would also assume since the motor was done via Cottons that he would take care of the problem...have you talked to him about it?

Benny,
Sorry to hear this! Were the GN1s new or used? I use the Indian Head stuff on the bolts.
Good Luck,
