got my $ after 15 years

Sold an old car 15 years ago to a friend of a friend. Let him make payments and I did not keep the title. Big mistake. Got a couple payments and found out he sold the car and left town.
Two years later I get a letter and $200 saying how bad he feels and I will get my $. Never heard from him again. A month ago I joined Facebook and I found him. Today I got the $800 he owned me.:smile:

Rivical and i was talking on day,and as we get into 30's we start to relize who our true friends are. By that time we only have a select few that we trust with lives. When we are in our 20's we dont care and will do anything for them all. I would have to say yes you are one of the few that are lucky! That man must feal guilty!

I gave a EX close friend of mine a nice newer truck for dirt cheap($3,000)back in 1998 being he had a new born and the girl left him with the child and moved to another state with there car,he had no ride at all....Told him to pay when he got his settlement,he got it and have not seen him since,we knew each other since 1989...Ill get my money one day too,hopefully..

The court houses are very accommodating to those types of claims. They will give you everything you need. Post his name and any previous addresses on here. If he is on the country he can be located. PM me his social if you want. With that he can be traced really quickly.

Unfortunately the moral of the story is there are a lot of dueche bags out there, huh? I have very few true friends, but the short list are the ones I would take the bullet for!!

John Harlacz,lived in Florida, Sarasota area,then Englewood/Port Charlotte...I think its been to long for court to approve it? He is my age,37..
