After many weeks of troubleshooting a bad idle and not driving my car I have another problem. Sputtering and missing under WOT boost (22-24 psi). This happened yesterday after my new converter install. The car drives great under normal acceleration cruise conditions. Fuel gauge was on windshield because of weeks of troubleshooting.(See other posts by me)
I have FP 43 psi static and it will only rise to 53-54 psi @ WOT. My alky is making up some of the difference..I think it actually saved me a headgasket change. Anyway, my fuel filter has only 300 miles on it and the regulator is new, I changed it during my troubleshooting. Should I drop the tank? The 340 pump is 2 years old and I am pretty sure that is my culprit..just want some feedback. Also, would a bad pump cause low BLM's and bad idle issues?
I have a new 6776bb turbo, 60# inj and PTC converter and I cant wait to get these issues squared away so I can enjoy the new mods.
