I tend to agree with the above guess its definately in the chrysler family if not the previous guess I'd go with a Dodge Cornet model.

Give me the name of the 2 car models both are in the same family. Each has a 3 digit number in the description identifying the model. One set of 3 digits adds up to 8 and the other 3 digits add up to 10.
One of these models today is worth big money.
What two models of what car am I referring? Has to match my choices!

I made a mistake in my question here is the CORRECTED info.
I am thinking of two car models both made by the same foreign car company each using 3 digits in the model description. In both cases 2 of the numbers are the same, One set of 3 numbers adds up to the number 8. In the second case the 3 digits add up to 12.
Additonal clue one of the above mentioned models is worth over a quarter million dollars today,
