Happy Birthday to Gary Wells, one of our Mods!

Have a good one Gary:biggrin:

Thank's, Shane. Celebrated by taking the turbo brick out this A.M. & hit 25 lbs boost by accident, on the way home. Turned it down a tad. I see my alky kit going on real shortly.

Happy b-day there good buddy!
Did ya buy the buick anything for your birthday? LOL

BW

Happy B-Day Gary...Hope you have a great one.

Add that alky, turn your boost back up to 25lbs. You know you want to ;)

Thanks, everybody, it's nice of everybody to mention & wish me well on my B-day. It was so much fun taking the car out this am, I think that I will take it out again tomorrow. Hope that I don't wear the car out in 1 weekend. I am just now coming up on 21K miles, and I am just getting the car to where it's fun to drive. It would have been much easier to just dig a hole and $100 bills into the hole.

I aint sayin yer old, but

Dang Gary, havent you had enough birthdays already? I mean... I know that we all have the right to have some birthdays in our lifetime, but dont abuse the privilege man.:D

Oh yea, Happy Birthday...

Mike

congrats on another year older.....

hope it was a good one!
be nice now! just cause you old enough to drink???????????

LOL LOL LOL

So did you take your car out today Gary?? When are you gonna join me and take it to the track?

Mike, Mike, Lee, Rob, Andrew, & Rodney:
Thanks for the rememberance. Yep, had the car out this am, backed the boost down to about 20 lbs., just temporary till I see where it seems to like.
Car seems to pull at least as hard or harder at 20 lbs. of boost with the cold air package on as it did at 22 lbs. of boost with the stock air intake set-up. Can't wait to do the alky & dial it in. Is the scanmaster pretty accurate in picking up detonation when it first occurs? I accidently boosted to about 24 lbs yesterday am (before I reset the wastegate actuator rod) and the sm did not show any detonation. I know the gage to be accurate within .5 of a lb of either boost or vacuum at either end of the scale.

The scanmaster should be pretty accurate. If you didn't see any KR at 25 lbs of boost you must have been ok. What were the O2's at?

Surely you jest, sir. At full boost, I watch for nothing but the cars on the road ahead of me, and for red lights and / or sirens behind me. I forgot to look, if the truth be known. 02's read opposite the KR?

Do you have fast update patch through the chip? I find it is accurate and fast enough without it. It used to pick up almost all the knock I had...With alky it is gone!

Opposite? You want high o2's and low knock if that is what you mean. Aim for 780's-810's and 0.0 on knock. Nice safe and fat combo.

02's on the left and kr on the right on the same frame or showing at the same time on the sm?
