Thanks.

The day started off kinda bad....Powermaster seems to have finally stopped mastering power....

First I got the "BRAKE" light on the dash....that's when I knew something bad was about to happen so I made sure I kept my distance safe and speed down.

Then a stop or two later....peddle got hard as a rock and I really had to stand on it to get the car to stop..

The drive the rest of the way to wrk was very exciting....can't wait to nurse it home.

Happy Birthday Tim, Lou is on Vacation so your gonna have to get somebody else to put to skids on the GN LOL....

Thanks.

Convert to vacuum.

Happy Birthday Tim, Don't convert to vacuum cause you might not be able to build any boost on the starting line cause the vacuum barkes don't hold as well as the power master will.

Yard Bird,
I'm sure that with your brakes out, Vipers and Lambos were next to you at every light.

I won't do vacuum....but I am seriously considering hydraboost.

No Vipers and Lambo's.....but two Saleen Stangs were granted a stay of execution....
Grrrrrrrr.....

Was gonna say hope you had a "lunchable or two" on your birthday but then I read about your powermonster issues. Well, Happy Birthday anyway! I'm still rocking the powermaster too BTW....

Well like most of your kill stories, you beat me to 47. (by 8 years)

happy birthday.

Thanks, guys.

This one lasted 140K miles....so they can't be that bad of a set up...

I think the biggest issue people probably have with their PM's is remembering to maintain the brake system in general...especially the oft forgotten...change the water logged brake fluid out on occasion or it'll rot your hydraulic parts out.
I just changed mine out when I upgraded the front brakes a few weeks back. It was pretty murky.
Also if a actuator ball is going bad....don't wait so long to change it or it'll run you PM motor into the dirt....etc.

I'm reading up on the hydroboost system. It's not without it's pitfalls either....and there is something to be said for keeping as much of your 87 GN stock as possible...

We'll see.

Right now...the PM motor does not even run.
First I need to check for a blown fuse.
Then I guess it could be the switch (the one near the actuator ball).

happy late b day wish to the kill section "king".....may us buick brothers represent as well As you....

happy birthday Tim have lou fix your powermaster he has a few laying around even new motors not cheap.
