Not a chance of me taking any appreciable time off from work. If I take anything more that a couple of casual days off the company will want me to train somebody. I personally don't believe in training my replacement until I am reasonably close to retirement, about a year and a half away. Be very careful in training people in any manufacturing or aerospace environment these days, it probably will turn out to be your replacement that you are training, and the company might be planning on your retirement somewhat earlier than you are. Homie don't do that. I didn't get this old by being lame.man you need to use some of that time man.. i was thinking i had a ton at 150hrs...
took the sheriff test last weekend and passed with 300 other people, the test was taken by 650 people. once a pre-background check was started, i had 1 to many tickets over a 7 year window.. so that DQ'd me..
other PD's only look at a 5 year window, so i should be OK and i'm set up for some testing dates for them..
Still in the process for a couple of Fed Law Enforcement jobs.. i'm really pulling for those jobs
other then that.. just chillin and working on paying off bills..
