Buddy of mine is having trouble starting his gn. He doesn't have a profile so I'm posting for him. Here's what I know...Compression is 140, fuel pressure only 6-8 psi, plugs are getting spark, and brand new fuel filter. Any insight is appreciated. If more info is needed on car...let me know. Thanx

I'd start with that fuel pressure reading, thats way too low how many volts at the pump?

If you are truely getting only 6 to 8 psi fuel pressure then you have a fuel problem

Items to start with, power to fuel pump, fuel filter, regulator, fuel pump empty tank bad fuel.

I would attach another FP gauge just to verify but if it is that low there is your issue

fp should be 38 to 42 psi for a stock setup

He's going to check the fuel filter to see if it's clogged. Car has been sitting for 6 years.

Uh...that'll do it.

I assume all fuel has been drained out and it has a fresh battery?

currently cutting it the F loose
