how far can i go using stock manifolds on a non strkod 3.8 using ported irons & 212 comp hyd. rollr.?Also is there any immediate gain in switching over to headers instead of using the stock manifolds...Also i have a non stroked 4.1 that will be using my same ported irons & 212 roller...should i use stock manifolds or headers on this motor?

Well... the stockers tend to crack repeatedly and some internal porting is common on the faster cars. The TA headers in mild steel would be the way to go. Have them coated to extend the lifespan a little longer when stainless is out of the budget. Their stainless stock replacements are nice also.

we ran 9.9s @ 138 with that combo with stock headers.. Stockers can def take a beating but we drive the hell out of the car .. We switched to TA's after them cracking a few times..
