Headers stock vs ATR style.

We all know stockers are good for most of us folks. What are the pros/cons of the ATR style (3bolt still) that don't meet until the turbo flange.

One draw back for me was my 3" DP had to be altered (banged in) a tad bit but other than that I feel good about not having to worry about exhaust leaks at those cross over flanges and the dreded cracking i always had.
