...Anybody else have problems with the pre-drilled holes for the Sun-visor brackets being waaaaay of on the ABS-backed headliners..... i think i fct up by trusting the pre-drilled holes on mine:mad:

were you able to salvage it... or did you have to recover the ABS backer.... mine are off at least an inch or two and i dont think the Sunvisor mounting bracket is gonna cover the holes from the screws i started.....

I was able to salvage. The large holes were in ok, the screw holes were mis-aligned.

If you got it from me let me know. Never had that problem. Just make sure the swivels are faced correctly.

I had the same problem. Be sure not to use these with map light equipped cars!

The measurements are desigended for dome lights only. If you measure it should be about 6" off. Gm put then in 2 different locations.

Yeah... Brian its one of yours...everything fit great and i was really impressed with how you could "roll" up a headliner in a box - BUT then i started the screws in the pre-drilled holes for the sunvisor mounts and they are off a good inch or two....now i'm afraid i cant salvage the headliner w/o having to recover it... any ideas:confused:  when i get a chance and calm down i will look again.
