EVER SINCE I PUT MY FRONT MOUNT ON I HAVE SEEN A INCREASE IN ENGINE TEMP, MY QUESTION IS WHAT IS THE BEST REMEDY FOR THIS? I HAVE NEW FOUR COOR STEEL RAD AND 16INCH AFTERMARKET FAN ON IT KNOW. I MANLEY NOTICE IT ON THE HIGHWAY NOT AS MUCH IN TOWN, BUT DOES GET WARM. HAVE THE 160 STAT ANY IDEAS? IT IS NOT EVEN WARM HERE YET!

Do you have to shout???

Anyway, if it does it mostly on the highway, I would look into a aluminum radiator...I have one (no front mount though) and I haven't heard my fan come on in I don't know how long.

If you decide to go that route , let me know I know someone that keeps CAS Radiators in stock ready to ship...It's the largest Radiator you can install without major fab.

The cheapest and best solution is a ramchargers dual fan.

We were having overheating problems with our 502 (at Idle and at 120 mph) no more with the ramchargers fan.

I made a plate to fill in the area from the back of the front bumper to the bottom of the core support. Cut it around the intercooler tubes within 1/4 inch. I used .050 aluminum. It lowered my freeway temps 10 degrees and I have my tranny cooler inbetween the front mount and the radiator. I also run the Be Cool radiator. When I find my disc I'll e mail you the pics of the plate and a pic of the template that I used.

about 195 on the highway norbs, have not flushed sytem other than new rediator and fluid. would love pics of shroud set-up that would be great trying to come up with something myself as well. would a fan in front of ic help you think? i would have to cut the piece between it and grill thought.

Never put a fan in front of the IC i tried that and it does cool up to 60 mph, but over that the car ran hotter, and racing it it became very hot, since it actually is a restriction. Put the ramchargers set up on, and you will be fine.
