Hi,

Does anyone know if the molded heater core hoses for hotair cars are still available new. In replacing my heater core I pretty much tore up one of the hoses.

Thanks

No, All of the molded GM hoses are discontinued. And I checked a couple of the on-line parts places and they dont have any hot air hoses listed either. Looks like you will have to try and match them up with some existing hoses.

Hi Eric,

Thanks for checking. I guess it's going to take a trip to the auto parts store with a sales person that's patient or knows their parts well.

If anyone has any experience with finding a replacement hose, please let me know.

Thanks

The originals had some pretty funky bends in them, good luck. Just buy a roll of the right diameter heater hose at your auto parts store and cut them to lenght. I replaced mine a few years ago without a problem. They sit behind a shield so you can't see them anyway. While your at it replace your heater valve too if it's old.

Turbofish dose that go for the top radiator hose too being unavailable.
I have the original with the part# 25517264YJ, but was never able to find a replacement.

Yep, the radiator hoses are gone too. The lower is the same as a NA so that is easy to find. Now if my information is right you could have gotten the larger V-8 radiator on the late build 85's. They used the 86-87 IC radiator hoses. Of course that version also used a larger fan shroud too unless one was to upgrade to the electric fans. BTW that shroud is discontinued too.
