Hi there Turbobuicks fans like me since i was 16,I have a little problem with my vacum conversion on 87 gn, After 2 power brake boosters in 3 years, i decided to go vacum but im getting the same hard pedal at first then it goes down and this is the reason i went with the vacum thinking my power brake booster was bad which now i know is not because im having the same problem i bought everythin brand booster master cylynder and even change the pedal, but im still back at square 1 has anybody had this problem b4 and do you have an answer 4 me plz.....

Check the booster vacuum check valve and make sure it's holding vacuum, pull it off at the booster and you should hear a "whoosh sound" if it's holding vacuum. If it's not holding vacuum replace the check valve. Also make sure you are using a "good" vacuum source for vacuum, such as at the top of throttlebody.
