Help! I need advice on a muffler

I just put on a hooker catback aerochamber mufflers & a kirbans 3 inch down pipe with a test pipe , I have stock headers & turbo . But the car is too Quiet , I would like a louder deeper sound i was thinking of putting on a pair of SLP loudmouths do you guys think that would do the trick? i want it as loud as i can with this set up thanks

Oh, then put some flowmasters/or slp's on it then.......n be be a "cool guy"
You basicly have 1 of the best CB systems for these cars and now, you wanna throw more of your money away????

Hell, I am trying to make mine more quiet... You can send those Hookers to me.
Put a 3" or 4" single shot exhaust system on it and go make some "noise"

When I was running stock unported heads I had straight 2.5" pipes. No cats nor mufflers. Just two 2.5" pipes exiting in the stock locations. I loved the sound of that exhaust....And I'd bet it was pretty dang unrestrictive too. I had to put a real exhaust system on once I ditched the bone stock heads though. I bolted on a set of Champion GN1s and the car became obnoxiously loud. There is a huge difference in what untouched stock heads vs Champion aluminums flow. So if you are running irons heads you may want to try this before you spend money on something else that may not satisfy your thirst for rumble. To test the sound put a piece of 2.5" flex pipe in place of your mufflers and see if you like that.

Hooker eaxaust is amazing!!!!!! How loud do you want it??? Like brian said go with a 4 single shot then as for slp its sounds horrible but that's my opinion if you like a v8. Style sound then go for slp but it just don't go with our cars

If you want loud, buy an electric exhaust cut out and open the dump when you feel the need to be loud

I assume you have removed the cat? That's makes a good difference in sound level. Put a straight pipe with a cutout in it's place. Open exhaust basically after the downpipe. I've ran around town a bunch in this form
