Vacuum 6

Are you the guy pulling on the crankcase from the fuel pump block off plate?

If so please post that pic.
I think those of us pushing some boost could use a block off plate that has an 8an fitting on it that we could also run to a catch can and then never deal with any of these breather pukes and pcv issues.

I think that would be a very oily environment for ventilation .

My timing chain is lubed by a weep hole in the gallery plug. Venting from that area is not a good spot, it would be full of oil fog for sure.

I think Vacuum is going block off into catch can, you put a breather on the block off and you'll have a mess for sure.

I might consider Star Machine EVP 1 at 8" of vacuum on my PCVless setup to stop the minor misting my breathers release at WOT. Also it seems as if every 5" of vacuum draw is roughly 1% in power so that's not bad.

Oil mist can occur in either setup. Regarding the front cover, it’s important to use a large hose -10 or greater. The hose must be angled to allow any oil to drain back. A larger ID hose slows the oil vapor and reduces the amount of oil being carried.

I’m using a Moroso 85470 catch can with a Mr. Gasket 5425 baffled grommet. I see very little to no oil passing through the PCV, the intake is clean. When running an unbaffled line, oil mist will always find its way out, that was an issue.
