Of course im freakin out like others but, Im moving soon.
Symtoms seem to be oil out breather,#6 plug smells like old water and is brown and wet, coolent on block leaking down and dripping on floor(Half dollar size),gasket seems to be sticking out of block a little but looks almost normal...All around #6 (Pass side in back).

No other symtoms noticed. But still looking.

This is my daily driver as of last month and I need to fix it soon.
My problem is, I have never done anything like this before.

I live in the (Quad Cities) Rock Island,Moline,Bettendorf,Davenport area .IF anyone could help me with this ,it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You,
Bo

Pull the dipstick out and see if it looks like a milk shake if that the case it's blown. But i had a blown head gasket also and never new it . My car never ran hot , never used any water. i went to changed my lower intake and seen it was blown. Thank god my heads are o-ring that is what saved me. They are not bad to change. Good luck! Rob

Bo,

One thing you can do is to remove the breathers from the valve covers, start the engine, and look for exhaust gases coming out of the breather holes at higher than idle RPMs.

In addition to checking the dipstick, you can look in the radiator while it running. Bubbles = Bad :(

If these are OK, pull all the spark plugs plugs (lie wires down so that can arc to the valve covers), and watch the motor as someone hits the starter for a couple revolutions. If water is getting into the cylinders, this will blow it out...all over the sides of the engine compartment. :(

Mine were blown at the top of cylinder 3 and never lost a drop of oil or coolant but it was open to the intake. Not pretty and the engine is filthy from blowing oil though the breathers.

Thanks for the replys guys, I will check the other symptoms mentioned and update.

So far tonight, no coolent in oil,no bubbles in rad. and no more coolent on floor. I went for a ride let it set and no fluid on the ground?? also my damn new turbo w/5k is smoking like hell...What did I do to deserve all this? Church this sunday for me:D

If you have a compression tester you can try testing out each cylinder as well. You SHOULD be around 150psi each cylinder.
