Help! Idle Driving Me CRAZY!?!?!?

I just finished building my 1978 231 v-6. It has the following: Turbo crank, turbo rods, turbo heads, 030 over on the bore, edelbrock performer intake, edelbrock 472 lift cam, holley 600 cfm carb, roller timing chain, electronic ignition (stock), accell wires, bosch platinum plugs, etc.....

I fired it up and it will either idle at around 2000 rpm and if I adjust anything it will not idle?!?!?!? I have reset everything; idle, timing, carburetor, etc......

ANY IDEAS WILL SURE HELP AS I AM ABOUT OUT OF PATIENCE WITH THIS ENGINE!

MAYBE THE CARBURETOR IS TOO BIG? I DO NOT KNOW ANYMORE.........
