Patrick smiles at this one....

There is a very specific CNC cut aluminum bracket that PTE and only PTE makes for the actuator to bolt up correctly. If you purchase this turbo direct from PTE with the actuator at the same time, it will indeed come with this specific cnc aluminum adapter bracket. You need to either call PTE and order it directly from them, or order from a PTE dealer. No matter who you order it from, you must include these very specific instructions....
I need a Heavy Duty or Standard Spring wastegate actuator with the adapter bracket and the correct hardware for a PT6776RS turbo on a Buick. There is also a beveled cut flush screw that come with it too, if memory serves me correctly. They offer both heavy duty and standard spring actuators for this turbo. If you call PTE direct, they will know, or at least the guys in the "new turbo build area" will know what you are talking about. FWIW, Jim knows what it is too, but he's in the repair section. :D You have to be very specific, because any TO4S compressor cover equipped Buick turbo will require this adapter bracket.

These turbos are, 6031S, 6076S, 6131S, 6131SP, 6131RS, 6131RSP, 6152S, 6152SP, 6176S, 6176SP, 6776S, 6776SP, 6776RS and the 6776RSP. All of these turbos can be made in 3-bolt Buick applications.
Hope this helps.

In PTE terms, there is no specific part number for each model turbo.
There are only two part numbers. Direct from the price sheet on their website they are as follows. The one for standard spring actuator (081-1005) and one for heavy duty spring actuator (081-1007). When you order either one of these actuators from one of PTEs vendors, or direct from PTE for that matter, you must specify what compressor cover your turbo has as they only have the correct bracket and orientation layouts for 4 compressor covers.

For all the newbies out there, here are pictures of the 4 types of covers that PTE has actuators for that will have the brackets spot welded in the proper orientation.

TA compressor cover (used on all stock 86-87 TRs and 89 TTAs as well as all of the current upgraded TA series turbos such as the TA-49, TA-60 etc, etc.) 3" inlet with billet inlet bell, 2" discharge.

TE compressor cover, also called the TO4E style comp cover. 3" inlet, 2" discharge. This pictures shows what the PTE casted E cover looks like.

TO4S compressor cover, also called the S comp cover. 4" inlet, 2.5" discharge. This is the turbo that requires the special cnc cut aluminum bracket from PTE in order to get the proper WG orientation. If you buy the turbo with the actuator, it includes the bracket and will be installed when you open the box. If you purchase the actuator seperately, it should have the bracket and the special flush headed black bolt. Not sure if it will include the washer that is needed in place of one of the clamps. See Royal-T-Ltds pics above.

H compressor cover. This is the large race series compressor cover that comes on all of PTEs 70 series turbos. 4" inlet, 3" discharge.
