Help with Cam Selection

Im about to buy a new cam/lifter/gearset for my 87 GN motor. Whats a good cam thats gonna give me a bit more power. Im keeping the stock turbo and converter but im gonna install my alky kit soon. My goal is to be in the low 12s to high 11s. BTW I just tore out my AC system and made my own delete plate .

What cam do you have? If you have a stocker then that should get you there. Same with the gears.

stocker will get you into the 11s, but a nice roller will make alot more power.
check out full throttles roller kit.

We would love to sell you a roller kit but to be honest it is nuts to tear down a motor like yours for a cam change, the gain will not be worth the work/investment usless you do some ported heads at the same time. If your goal is really low 12 - high 11, stay with the stock stuff, add a good set of valvesprings and a turbo with the alky kit and you will be there as long as you have the other support mods like fuel and exhaust.
