Well Instro84 I will say this much i have had the cars for about 10 years and it was not till i became a member of this board till i got the inspiration to git mine done. It is only an 82/86 and it will be fited with a v8. neather one of them was a t or grand but i just plane love the body style. So get your butt moving LOL:p

OK i got a few more. I did this much over the corse of about 3 days. This is being done on a very tight budget. Im not going to drive this car in the winter so im only useing Rustoloum paint and primer in a spray can. Plus i only get about 2-3 hours a day if im lucky to too work on it. Got to keep the wife happy and got to play with the 6 year old too. The picks show the wire whelling, priming, and the paint stages.

Ok i got to back up a little bit. This the under side of the body back in late Jan./Feb. wire wheeled it,primed, and then used the do it yourself bed liner from wal-mart. I remind every one that this is on a tight budget! I will not be driving in the winter. The pick # 2 is the frame after sitting out side for the winter.

Looks all too familiar!!:D Keep up the good work! I am glad to see that I am not the only one crazy enough to do this!!:D I'll keep watching for more pics!

well i dont think that this will be the only g body that i will do. The wife likes the monties so after i get this done the 2nd will be a peice of cake.

I took this shot just to give some laughs:tongue: the front and rear bumper laying on the back of the frame to give a counter ballance to the front. The moter and tranny were still bolted to the frame. thank god for steel bumpers:biggrin: There is a jake stand under the front member too. opps i will learn from this to stable thing better in the future.

4GJ47P = 4 is the BUICK div number, G is the body type, J47 is two door regal coupe, and I believe the P is for Pontiac Michigan plant...not for sure.
CB4 might be for a Landau vinyl top. Thats about all I can tell you without my books that the old man has. HTH
