Got into another small project and have some parts I wont be using.

1. Edelbrock 5486 Carbed Intake $100

2. Long Tube Headers $75

3. Ported and pollished 6293 heads, Big Stainless Vavles, valve job, HD springs with new locks (springs are set for the ruggles cam)..... These would also be nice on a Turbo set up and if they dont sell, I'll be using them for a turbo set up on this block $450

4. Jim Ruggles cam, unknown specs but it made BIG power and has literally no miles on it. ----$50

5. 4.1L pistons .030 on 2 DOT rods unknown brand and couldnt fiind any info on them

6. Stock 4.1L intake $50

These parts were on a 4.1 that made 375HP at the wheels that was based off of a Jim Ruggles build. The parts have hardly been used. The car was hit shortly after the motor was built for it.

Do you have flow #s on the heads?
Who did the porting?
How are the springs set up for the use of Ruggles cam?
What changes would be necessary to the heads/springs to use on a turbo engine?
Are the 4.1 pistons forged? Flat top design?

Hi Ken, the previous owner had these ported and I dont have any flow specs on them other than they made a heck of a lot of power for being an NA application. They are set up for a hydraulic flat tappet cam and basically you'd have to test the mounted spring height and compare them to the specs of the cam you plan to run. The springs look to be 100# Chevy springs and have one spacer under them. I'm sure this Ruggles cam has a farely high lift to it but you'd also want to test the guides for clearence compared to the cam you plan to run if you are using a higher lift cam. If you are running a cam good for stock heads, you'll be fine for clearence, it's when you get into the higher lift cams that you'll have a problem.

The pistons are a Hypers but i havent been able to verify the exact specs on them. The only ID is stamped in the back as B414 and .030 on the tops.

I'll take the intake, please send address, payment instructions, postal MO ok?

Sorry Ken, the heads are not available anymore. The Edelbrock intake is sold Pending payment as well.

What about the cam Jeremy? I'm interested in it. Do you know the lift numbers?

I dont know any detials on it other than it was a Ruggles cam that was set up for a 4.1 build. The guy I bought all of this from basically said the motor was directly built by Jim Ruggles specs to produce max power. He also said the cam was pretty lumpy. Other than that, i'm blank on info about the cam.

Springs and spacers were also supplied by Ruggles but they pretty much look like Chevy springs.

Here you go. There are no markings or numbers engraved on it. There is a 661 on the end but i think that is pretty much on most cam cores.
