Hood liner?

GM part number 12306178...is this just like ours except no screening? (no Buick etc)
It has a note about cutting required...what has to be cut.
I can get it through my dealer for like $75...seems bad cheap...just making sure this is correct.

I'm pretty sure that is a hood insulator for a n/a Regal.The part# for a 86-7 Turbo regal is # 25525977.

Yes it is plain black.The part # hasn't changed but they no longer say Buick Turbocharged 6 on them like the original hood pads.

12306178 is the universal hood insulator. You get enough material to do one huge hood. You use your old liner as a pattern and cut it to fit. 25525977 is the turbo hood with out the silkscreen writing.

Get a hold of 'nonos' here on the board. They are silk screening the logo on hoodliners and selling them. They aren't exactly correct, but not too bad at all, I would say.

I can cut a pattern and do it myself...I have a vinyl cutter.
