I'm putting my car on a diet . Anyone know the weight savings on going to a fiberglass hood , specifically a Hartline hood ?

Myself and members Murphster and Dank etc have done posts back in the day, not sure they're still in the memory banks on here anymore but...

Even though I lost my big weight doc, I believe it's almost 27lbs on the dot.

Trunk lid with carbon bumpers and you're down a nice chunk. Carbon bumpers vs Stock and steel support brace was huge.

This is the thread I remember.

Thanks !! In that thread there is mention of a Vortexbuicks list that was very helpful .

I keep mine on the charger just like I did my old AC Delco so it's really not a bother. You can get a specific charger for the lithium or you can get a Noco Genius 2 for $50 and charge lithium, flooded acid, gel, AMG and deep cycle.

Wow haven't seen the Vortex website in years, good starting point and this might be a good time to create a master list between that and all the posts on here over the decades. Easy to get to 3400lbs with the guide of a master list, expensive too. Hahaha
