Id just go with a te45a and a .63 housing if your not looking for every single horsepower- Since you will be doing street duty more than track duty, a te45a will spool faster than a 70 with that convertor-

If you decided to go larger, then you might want to step up the convertor some

Id get a meth kit and not a propain kit, just my opinion

With your combo I would definitely go bigger than a 62. Hell, I had run a 62 with a stock motor and converter a few years back. Take a look at CPT66, a GT67, or something else in that size range.

TE45a is a t-66 turbo that is stuffed in the small housing to appear just like your pte51- pte54, the TE45a flows 1050cfm.
You also can get TE45a as the largest TA series housing and still have a stock appearing turbo.

The TE45a loves boost!

thanks quick6 and benstr

45 sounds like it might work for me Im gonna do more research Im probably most likely gonna float around with my spare stocker and keep my fingers crossed for something used Im scraping it presently until dec and am holding on to the dollas for dear life
returned to school for a career change and working out the bugs in that category
again thanks and if you have more suggestions please send em Im gonna look up the 66/67 and 45
