With a drill (go clockwise) and use either a flathead screwdriver with the handle broken off, or an oil pump prime tool for a small block Chevy. Prime it until you feel it drag down a bit, then keep going about 30 seconds or so. It is suggested to rotate the motor over in increments to ensure oil gets to the valve covers, etc. (also smart to have valve covers off at the time to make sure oil is getting to the top end)
