I just replaced the Brake hydro booster and the Master cylinder on my 84 TType. Apparently, the master cylinder pushrod coming out of the booster is about half an inch or so too long. It does not allow me to install the master cylinder. According to the instructions, the pushrod should be adjusted so it has 3/8 to 1/2 inch clearance/play. The end of the pushrod that touches the master cylinder, turns right or left but does not get shorter or longer. Also, the shaft that comes out from the back side of the hydro booster and connects to the brake pedal, it's kind of loose and it turnes righ or left, but again does not get shorter or longer to make adjustment. So, how do you adjust the master cylinder pushrod?? The car has been out of commission (6 months) because of the breakes and I am realy anctious to drive it again. Any help on this would realy be appriciated.
