Hey, I'm on a budget and I am upgrading the fuel system. I'm not going to cheap out on the pump...(buying a Racetronix kit..they are sweet!) but do I really need a billet adj. regulator??? The car won't see major mods....stock injectors, turbo, IC, wastegate....but I will do bolt on stuff (exhaust, MAF, downpipe, ram air, chip) Will a 237 regulator support this? Also, anything has to be better than stock right? And for $15 it couldn't hurt.....correct????

IMO, I would not get the ram air and by the adj. reg I think you will be able to tune alittle better with the adj reg it's pretty hard to tune with a ram air kit;) . But I think the 237 will support most of the chips out there, my .02.

I AGREE W/ BADINBLACK6. how are you planning to ram air into a turbo? besides the way the ram air systems are setup they go through too many bends to actually flow any good. most the benefit is due to it being a cold air induction setup. have you looked into a big mouth air intake system from www.buickgn.com a lot of people have them and love them. 4" mandrel bent chrome piping sure flows a lot of air and looks good doing it. i made my own big mouth type of kit w/ a 180º mandrel U bent exhaust pipe and i can tell you i felt a difference in the way the car ran. a 237 regulator is good but you really want to get an adjustable one b/c you will sometimes you will have to turn the FP up or down to get a good AF ratio. i say spend the money on an adjustable regulator. HTH:D

Well, for about 10 clams from the local yard, you don't have much to lose. I have had mine on for almost a year now with minor mods, I'm happy and my O2's are good with this combo.

I also agree not to mess with ram air. I made my own cold air kit that located the K&N behind the headlight/bumper. My scanmaster reports IAT's right on the money with outside temps. while cruising. Doesn't climb unless I sit still for a few.

Spend the money on the go fast parts you can't make yourself. :)

I just picked up a 237 for a friend at the yard for $3. They are just fine for your mods.
