I plan on a cage soon. as I can find someone around me that's good and carful.but for now, in order for me to do some tuning on the track (not balls out)just wonder what is safe. I have a tin man rear seat brace and a hr rear sway bar in it now anyone know what 60fts would be safe without hurting my body work. also anyone know anyone near me that's reasonable as far as price and time installing a cage.nc.28752

Been 1.39 and haven't had a issue

My 86 started to crack while driving enthusiasticly on the street. Tried the gnx braces in the truck, but it didn't help.

Had one buckle on it's first hit on the street. Frame notch no bar. If the frame isn't properly reinforced it doesn't take much to buckle it. This car leaves harder on the street than most do at the drag strip

I believe a ttop car has less of a chance buckling also
No, it's the other way around…It has more chances of buckling. Look at this picture of Martin's (MAXSIX)'s low 9 sec. t-top car…Look at the 1/4 panel!
