I run the shurflo with an M15 @ 100psi. I have a pressure gauge hooked up and I noticed it takes about 1 second for the pressure to get to 100psi. I have about 4-5ft of braided SS line, can't recall the ID, but it's whatever everyone else here uses.
I run about 14psi and the surflo turns on at 7psi. I don't think the lines are filling fast enough, lately I've been hearing some detonation right as it hits boost. This stops if I simply prime the line first. I never had this problem before(detonation), but I'm dealing with 90octane here, which seems to be be making this problem rear its ugly head.
Is this typical of the shurflo pump? I think mines always been slow like this. Tonight I have to lower the hobbs switch. Hopefully this goes away.
