I was just wondering how many GNXs most people have seen. Those who attend many car shows will, of course, count more. I've only seen one in person. It was owned by a guy in Owl's Head, Maine and it still had the original tires on it. I just about soiled my pantaloons when I spotted the thing. #341, I think it was. As a matter of fact, I've only seen one TTA in person as well. (I know, I don't get out much.) It belonged to the guy in Snyder, Texas that I bought my current GN from this summer.

Just curious.

I have seen...

2 in 1987 At the Buick Dealer in Delray Beach in the showroom..

A VERY VERY SWEET one at a local auto show in Raleigh and a couple between 87 and now on the streets.. THought they were clones until I saw the rearend. ( | )

Im my life? Since 87 Id say about 25 or so..

two extremes... Buddy Cox's 8 second GNX to a local 100 mile GNX with the plastic still on th efloor covering the carpets..

i've only seen one actual GNX in person and the guy was from around this area somewhere...i saw it at the track and he was racing it...bone stock it was running 13.5's @ 103 mph

i saw a new one in ct. in 87 and worked on #374 and 442 here in vegas

I have seen 3 and two of them was at Rons customs and one of the customers was using it as a daily driver and looked pretty bad i couldn't believe that somebody would drive a GNX to work and the store i mean come on.

GNX #001 was at BG 2001 and I took some video of it being started and moved from under the tent. That footage is on the 2001 Nationals tape I believe. They had about 6 GNXs at the show that year and not too many last year, and none at the 02 Nats due to the rain during the car show. If you walk around at BG, Norwalk, etc, you will find others.

So I'd say I've seen about 20 total. There's one just 8 miles down the road from me that was for sale on EBay that I haven't seen yet.

My wifes wedding car was a GNX 342, we had 5 GNs and a GNX as our wedding cars back in 93 was pretty cool. It made an issue of Car Craft too in the reader write in section.

Who's GNX 342?

There seems to be a fairly large concentration of GNX's in our small state. I know that there is a good GNX turnout at the fall Buick Weekend at Englishtown with maybe 6 in attendance (3 show/3 race).

I had a ride in #007 way back in the spring of '87. Scott Oldham from Cars Illustrated (then 18 years old) doing the driving chores and me riding shotgun. I never did get to drive it that evening when he swung by my house.

Rich, I remember seeing the "GN wedding party" pics in Kirban's newsletter during that time. Very impressive.

>>>> Thanks Chuck appreciate it. If I knew how to post a pic here I'd post it, course I'd be 10 years younger......still no hair but just as handsome I'm sure.......lol.

I have seen more clones than real ones.

For the real ones I say about 3 or 4.
One at the Nebra picnic on 2002 was trailered up from NY.
Another 2 from mass. & one in a car show.

You guy's make me SICK!! I ain't never saw no dadblame GNX ever for in my life! Ain't FAIR, Ain't FAIR, Ain't Fair!!!! Yall just go ahead and rub it in all you want too!! Still Ain't Fair.:(

Still Ain't Fair.

Cool question.

I've personally seen and documented 61 different ones + the 2 that I used to own for a total of 63. I've seen them over the past 13 years that I've attended the GS Nats as well as cars I have inspected for potential owners, GNX's I've seen at local car shows, and GNX's that I've looked at as possible purchases.

Sure it was not # 375 that belonged to Bob B.
