How many pounds of boost-vac brakes?

With my 87 GN, I can't get more than 1 lb of boost on the line, WITH SLICKS, with my vac brake conversion. Trying to PUSH through the lights! HORRIBLE 60 FOOTS Is anyone else getting more boost with vac brakes?

I have gotten up 10 and I let off...Prolly could have pushed more. What cylinders and shoes do you have?

Me too. I could hold 10 psi+. S-10 cylinders and the biggie shoes. No need now, got the Brian Hofer tranny with the trans-brake.:biggrin:
