How many Quarts do our trannys hold?

Looks like my Tranny Pan gaskets was over torqued, and it split. So now it is leaking....gooing to replace it, but I just wanted to know how many Quarts our trannys hold...I am not going to trust my dipstick on this one because It could be off.

oh, also what kinda fluid should I get.

It takes all of them. I would get a dipstick that reads correctly. I would start with 5 quarts.
