I have mine at 12#'s but I also have to deal with 90 octane here in lubbock and don't have cash for a alkly system yet.

How much boost is everyone running on their hotair? if its higher than 12-13# without knock or racegas how are you doing it?

And any help getting it higher would be great, any help other than telling to tune....Tuning is already understood and very vage=doesn't help fixing anything, specific is better.
 
I ran 17 all the time with my old set up and 20-21 with no prob. I would get a little knock in the high gears at 21psi on 93 gas. I've ran 23-24 on 110 camtwo with no knock and tuning by ear.:D
 
I have ran as high as 23# on 110 octane. And as low as 10# with 93 no alky (cause I ran out) and hot and humid day.
 
20-21psi on my dad's car when it was a hotair on 92 octane no alky and no knock except once and a while on the 1-2 shift. On mine I could run ~19psi no knock on 92 octane. Once converted, his car would knock at more than 16psi with a big turbo and intercooler go figure. I'm a firm believer that a cooler charge does not allow more boost, it allows more power to be made at the same boost level.

At the same boost level it was night and day. I've said it before, my only mods were a K&N and intercooler and I went 13.9@ 101mph with only 13psi. The intercooler can take nearly a second off your time.
 
I agree with cool again. It was a night and day difference. I had done most of the mods listed in my sig. The i/c was a end of the year project last year. I could not believe how much more power my car made with the i/c. But I could not run more boost.
 
Always too much according to my intercooled buddies.

(They think knock is bad!:D )

With the stock intake and Red's 93 chip I ran 21-22 on good gas and 14-15 in the heat with 92-93.

So far this year I've run 19-20 with 93 and Alky before the pump gave up the ghost, and 15-16 on 92-93 with a JL 110 24% chip.

The V3 is allowing for more timing and boost than the stocker did, but now I have an Alky problem.

I'm going to try the bigger jet that Steve sends with the I/C Alky kit when I get the pump replaced and shoot for 20-21 on 93 with a chip burnt for it.
