Adapter, not spacers right? I've used adapters on a few different cars with no issues at all. I won't use spacers. Too dangerous IMO.

If you have the adaptors installed properly then you should be ok, but if you take it into a reputable shop and they find adaptors on the car they most likely will refuse to service it for you. It's a liability issue. I've seen tires fly because of adaptors and spacers both.

i may be wrong but adapters are the same as spacers right? even though the purpose of them is to change the bolt pattern they have to be bolted to the hub and have a thickness to them so they will make the wheel sit out farther right? either way i would prefer to have a wheel that bolts up directly to my car and has the proper offset.

Ive seen adapters take some abuse on a 4000lbs car..Mike sure they are the billet ones not the cheap pot metal ones...

I had to use 5/64" spacers to clear 12" Baer brakes with my 87 Ttype aluminum wheels.
I found 45 & 85 GN wheels look the same, if you blast the paint off them, however, they do not need spacers.

Good billet "adapters" bolt to your car just like a wheel does and then the wheel mounts to the adapter. With these you should have no issues. Spacers on the other hand that just simply "sandwich" between the wheel and hub are NOT the way to go. JMO

I have 3 sets of billet adapters if you want to purchase a set-tell me how thick you want them.
