how serious is a cracked MAF hose?

I pulled everything from the inlet bell forward off for a thorough inspection, cleaning, and test. I found a 1/4” crack on the back side of my MAF hose. It is barely visible, and it is not even wide enough to slide a sheet of notebook paper through. Is this a simple replacement issue, or do I need to check for further damage that could have been caused by this crack?

As you describe it you should be fine with just replacing the hose.

You're OK , but just knowing there is a little crack in MAF hose may drive you nuts, if so Replace It .

I am looking at replacing my current hose with the black aluminum hose offered on Kirban, but I do not want to use those brownish couplers. Does anyone know where I can get some black couplers for the MAF pipe like they have for the intercooler?
